Nowadays, all our electronics seem to be synced up. We've got our smart TV's talking to our stereo systems, our computers linked up to our home security systems, we've even seen toasters that will start up at the touch of a button on your smartphone. But when it comes to our vehicles, the infrastructure seems to be all there to get our high tech cars connected with the surrounding world, but it hasn't really happened yet. Now, Jaguar dares to ask, "Why not?"

Fans of Jaguar, it's time for a lesson in etiquette. As Jaguar's newest vehicles, the compact luxury sport sedan Jaguar XE and the luxury SUV Jaguar F-PACE, are fresh to the market and making some waves in their respective segments, Jaguar has decided to release a new promotional video series aimed at showing off these vehicles capabilities while highlighting Jaguar's heritage.

As the British brand's very first entry into the uber-competitive compact luxury crossover class, the all-new 2017 Jaguar F-PACE most certainly has its work cut out for itself.

Will it ultimately become a household name or, like so many others, fade off into obscurity? Truth is, only time will tell.

The new Jaguar F-Pace will be arriving in the U.S. soon, and AutoTrader recently took a prototype out for a ride in the rain, wind, and mud. Early findings suggest Jaguar may have a huge hit in the making. Click "play" in the video clip below to watch the full report.

The F-Pace is a driver's SUV, befitting its Jaguar heritage. The 3.0-liter diesel engine produces 286 British horsepower and 517 pound-feet of torque, which gets the big cargo carrier from 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds.
