With the 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR you will get the latest version of Jaguar Land Rover’s 5.0 liter, supercharged V8. With some special tinkering from the Special Vehicle Operations, the engine has been now has an impressive 575 horsepower powering all four wheels and torque coming in at 516 lb-ft, and the 0-60 is an insane 3.5 seconds.

Earlier this morning, Jaguar 2016 Land Rover North America issued a press release announcing that the F-TYPE has been honored by Edmunds.com as the most popular car in its segment, for the second year in a row.

With myriad upgrades for the 2016 model year, F-TYPE earned the top spot in the Premium Sports Car category. The Edmunds.com most popular awards are determined based on data pertaining to total car-shopper consideration from January through November of 2015...

Right now on the Jaguar website, you can build you own dream F-TYPE or F-TYPE convertible. So you start with the base high-performance sports car and can add things like a more powerful engine and a panoramic glass roof. Performance seats in Red Premium leather with Red Premium leather interior and Jet twin needle contrast stitching, perhaps. We have to say—building you dream car is pretty fun.
